The chapel and grounds are during term time throughout the year. Individuals are always welcome to visit.
It is helpful if you ring ahead first (01277 373959) to be sure that we are open and that there are no large groups, or works on site, that may affect your visit.
Please make your way to the office (on the left as you come through the archways from the carpark) where you will be asked to sign in and take a lanyard before you then walk, pray and reflect as you wish to. Please note that you will not be able to access the main house.
Unfortunately we cannot book individuals for residential stays.
There is – naturally – no charge to visit the grounds and chapel, though donations are always warmly welcomed.
The chapel is set within the grounds, away from the main house, and is available throughout the day, unless being used by the retreat group. The tabernacle design allows for personal Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The chapel is used by retreat groups for Masses, prayers and liturgies, and you would be advised of the timing of these on any particular day by the person greeting you in the office.
As the main house is usually in use by groups, which often include children and young people, we are unable to allow individuals into the house, but there are toilet facilities just across from the office, where we will also tea and coffee making facilities.
