Retreats at Walsingham House

This year at Walsingham house we are offering the opportunity for groups (up to 40 young people plus staff) to hire our house, chapel and grounds for self-led day retreats.

Here at Walsingham house we see the benefit of providing space for reflection and prayer for the young people of the Brentwood Catholic Youth Service. We have 14 acres of beautiful grounds which lend itself wonderfully for a retreat day, giving the ability to take a break from reality and your current environment.

Currently we are taking a year to re-evaluate the way Walsingham House can best serve our youth, therefore we have not recruited our usual team of volunteers, however, we still wish to be able to offer our fantastic retreat space to those who would like to lead their own retreats within our grounds.

During these retreats we will be on hand to provide light refreshments during break times and to help behind the scenes so you can run your own day retreat effectively.

Walsingham house is available for retreats Wednesday-Saturday 9am-5pm. This year due to staffing changes we are unable to provide lunches, we therefore ask all groups to bring a packed lunch.
