You are invited to join the BCYS, for Monthly Youth Mass

Celebrated on the First Thursday of the Month At Brentwood Cathedral

Each month, on the first Thursday, we invite young people, Youth Groups, Confirmation Groups, School Groups and anyone who wishes to join us to celebrate Mass together with other young Catholics from all around the Diocese.

 

The evening will begin with something to eat in the Parish Hall at 6pm (as we know many of you will come from work, school or far corners of the Diocese!) which will be followed by an hour of different input each month.

This may include speakers, workshops, prayer and worship, Reconciliation or more!

 

We will then celebrate Youth Mass in the Cathedral at 7:30pm, and the evening should finish around 8:30pm.

Anyone who wishes is very welcome to bring instruments or sing with our Youth led music group, or if you would like to serve, read, or be involved in the Mass in any way is always incredibly welcome!

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back after the summer for a special Lourdes Reunion Youth Mass.

Whether you travelled to Lourdes this year or simply want to hear all about it, come along to catch up with friends, enjoy some pizza. We will also have a separate meeting for all those who have expressed interest in our World Youth Day pilgrimage to Seoul next summer.

1st October 2026

October is the Month of the Rosary, and this month’s Youth Mass will include a special opportunity to reflect on the Rosary and the role of Mary in our lives.

5th November 2026

This month we’ll be celebrating a special Diocesan Youth Mass, welcoming school groups from across the Diocese to join us and hear from our guest speakers.

3rd December 2026

As we prepare for Christmas, join us for our Advent Reconciliation Service.

Take time away from the busyness of the season to reflect, pray, and celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation as we prepare our hearts to welcome Christ at Christmas.

 

 

There will be plenty of food and refreshments available in the Parish Hall from 6pm, followed by Mass, celebrated in the Cathedral from 7:30pm.
