Diocesan Pilgrimage to Walsingham, Saturday 24th May 2025

We would like to invite a group of representatives from the BCYS, aged 18+ , to join Bishop Alan and other parishes around the Diocese of Brentwood as we travel on pilgrimage to Walsingham and honour Our Lady of Walsingham. Mass will be celebrated at the Basilica before walking the Holy Mile to the grounds of Walsingham Abbey to celebrate Vespers and Benediction on the site of the Holy House.

There may be opportunities for readers, servers, musicians and singers during the day, or for young people to assist in others throughout the day.

For those who wish, we would like to invite you to stay at Walsingham House the evening before ready to travel to Walsingham together on Saturday morning. There would just be a small charge of £10, to cover an evening meal, breakfast and accommodation.
