Primary and Secondary School Assembly for Lent Week 2

As we continue to journey through Lent, this week we will be reflecting on the Gospel for the Second Sunday of Lent – the Transfiguration. This is a beautiful story where Jesus is revealed to his disciples as the ‘Son of God – the Beloved’ as he is transfigured in white light from heaven. In this weeks assemblies we are reflecting on how God can make the ordinary, extraordinary and how during this period of Lent we have a chance to radiate Christ’s extraordinary love into the world around us by recoginsing the beautiful things we have in our lives right now.

Each week we produce two assemblies designed for primary school pupils and secondary school students in years 7-9.
