November is a time of remembering those who have died; this year, so many hundreds of thousands have died from CoronaVirus across the world, and nearly 50,000 in the UK. We pray for each of them – every one someone’s son or daughter; many of them husbands and wives, grandparents and parents, sisters and brothers to those who now grieve.

Our faith promises us, “death is life changed but not ended,” and it is with  hope in eternal life that we commend our loved ones to the Lord. in a particular way we pray for those who died alone, and who were buried alone, with family and friends watching and praying from some distance away. 

Eternal Rest Grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

May they Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory. Amen.
