Please join us at Walsingham House at Abbotswick for a Mass of Remembrance and Commemoration of loved ones on Remembrance Sunday, 10th November, at 2:30pm in the chapel.

During the Mass we will read out the names of all those commemorated here with trees, benches and rose bushes, and those with ashes interred here. The Mass will be simple and reflective, in the stillness and peace that is so natural at Abbotswick.

 

You are welcome to arrive any time from 1:00pm, to stroll around the grounds; the main house will be open for tea and coffee, and for a peaceful sit down, before the Mass begins. We will have the list of names of those we know who are commemorated here; please do arrive early to check the list, to be sure that there are no omissions.

Of course, not all of the friends and family of those remembered here are Catholic; in case anyone is anxious about that please be absolutely assured that everyone is welcome here – always.

 

After the Mass there will be plenty of tea, coffee and cakes available in the main house, and you are very welcome to stay and chat, and catch up with old friends.
