PRAY IN SOLIDARITY FOR PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS

#RedWedensday is Aid to the Church in Need’s annual campaign in November which is focused on making a stand against religious intolerance, with a light being shone on the ongoing Christian persecution around the world. For this campaign we ask people to take on fundraisers, prayer vigils etc but also to light their churches and Cathedrals red. If anyone is getting involved in any way they go onto our virtual map > https://acnuk.org/our-campaigns/red-wednesday/redwednesday-events/ which is used as evidence we present to government and others about the grass roots concern around Christian persecution.

People can request free fundraising packs here with ACN goodies if you they complete the form on the page with the map (linked above) or by saying they wish to be a #RedWednesday champion which simply means they feel strongly about the campaign and wish to partake somehow >https://acnuk.org/our-campaigns/red-wednesday/be-a-redwednesday-champion/

People can take part in any way they wish to – fundraising, raising awareness, holding special Masses or prayer vigils for persecuted Christians and so on.

This event is supported but not organised by the Brentwood Catholic Youth Service. Please contact the organisers directly for more information.
