We are officially launching our newest project:
The Bishop’s Certificate is designed to be an entry level qualification to help in the ongoing formation of adults involved in sacramental preparation or youth ministry in the Diocese of Brentwood. It includes both the development of practical skills & the deepening of theological knowledge.
We are committed to making the process of faith formation for catechists and youth leaders more accessible than ever before by harnessing the power of digital media. So we are making sure this course is taught through engaging, short videos with expert interviews on a custom built website, complete with online questionnaires and journaling for assessment purposes.
How do I find out more?
If you are interested you probably have lots of questions about assessments, timeframe, cost, commitment and what’s covered in the course. We have produced an introductory course handbook to answer all these questions
The Youth Service has worked hard for many years to build a flourishing culture of engaging opportunities for young, we are excited to build on this by becoming a go-to place for supporting those who journey with them: our beloved catechists and youth leaders"
Fr Dominic Howarth (Episcopal Vicar for Pastoral Formation)
