National Youth Sunday 2019

The theme for National Youth Sunday 2019 is

‘Significance’

based on “For him you have worth; you are not insignificant. You are important to him, for you are the work of his hands” (Christus Vivit, 115)

We will be asking young volunteers from around the diocese to come and speak in parishes about the youth service, our work and their own experiences.

On this weekend we also hope to be able to hold a second collection is to support the Youth Service, particularly our bursary scheme which helps young people who would otherwise struggle financially to be involved, as well as helping towards other costs so that we may continue to share the Good News of Jesus Christ amongst young people. We will be sending further information and resources out to all parishes, as well as scripts and guidelines to anyone who has volunteered to speak on our behalf.
