The Team

Fr Damien is the new Episcopal Vicar for Youth Ministry.  As well as supporting the BCYS he is Assistant Priest in Chelmsford.

Fr Michael serves as Chaplain to Walsingham House. He is also Assistant Priest at Our Lady & St George Parish, Walthamstow.

Erin is from Hornchurch and belongs to St Mary Mother of God Parish and attended Sacred Heart of Mary Girl’s School in Upminster. Erin is really looking forward to welcoming young people on retreat and helping them focus and engage with their faith.

Ava is from St Bede’s Parish in Chadwell Heath and attended the Brentwood Ursuline Convent High School. She hopes to gain new skills and experiences all whilst growing in confidence throughout the year.

Liz is from Our Lady and All Saints Parish, Basildon, and attended the Brentwood Ursuline Convent High School. She is excited to be part of the team and hopes to continue the legacy of welcome and community characteristic of Walsingham House.

Marco is 18 years old and from St George’s Parish in Shoeburyness, he also attended St Thomas More High School in Westcliff. Marco is looking forward to sharing his faith with the young people from around the diocese and hopes to inspire them to deepen their own faith.

Ruby is from Colchester and attended St Benedict’s Catholic college. Her parish is Our Lady of Light in Clacton. This year she is most looking forward to meeting like minded people and working with more young people in the diocese who come on retreat here at Walsingham House to deepen their knowledge and relationship with God.
