Youth Clubs

Helping young people together

The BCYS aims to offer as much help and support as possible to youth club leaders and can guide new clubs by linking them with established clubs, as well as offering advice about risk assessments, etc.

We are currently working towards an annual social and thank you for Youth Club leaders, with the chance to share good ideas between clubs: more details of this will be available in early 2009.

We are also very happy to visit Youth Clubs and meet youth club leaders locally - please email frdominic@bcys.net.

In addition, we are looking at possibilities for at least one large annual inter-parish or inter-club sports based activity day, and there will also be more details about this during 2009.

In the meantime, clubs running for young people in school year 8 and above may consider a summer trip to the
Aylesford Youth Festival, held each July.
